The rules
Age Verification
Penticton Casino is 19+ only. No exceptions. Age gets verified before any deposit, and parents get practical steps to keep kids off gambling sites.
Who is allowed to play?
Adults 19+. Nobody else. Not with a parent watching. Not on someone else's account.
To play here, you must be 19+ and located where local law allows it. Canadian rules on age verification, identity checks and anti-money laundering shape the way we run things. Opening an account while underage breaks our Player Agreement.
How can parents block gambling sites?
Most devices already have the tools built in. You just need to switch them on.
- Turn on the parental controls on phones, tablets, computers and game consoles.
- Add filtering software, or set filtering on your home router, to block gambling categories.
- Set age classification limits in app stores so casino apps cannot be installed.
- Give children their own user profiles, and protect adult profiles with a password they do not know.
Internet Matters offers free, plain guides to setting up these controls.
What do you do if a minor is using an account?
We act straight away. We freeze the account, void every bet and cancel any winnings. We deal with deposits as our Player Agreement sets out.
At that point the account closes for good, and the details behind it are blocked. If an adult knew a minor was playing and let it happen, we may close that adult's account as well.
Do you share a device at home?
One laptop. One tablet. Whole family. That is normal, and it is often how underage play begins. Keep it locked down:
- Log out when you finish. Every time.
- Switch off saved passwords in your browser.
- Lock the screen when you step away.
- Keep cards, Interac details and e-wallet login details where children cannot get to them.
Never hand your login to anyone, child or adult. Every bet placed on your account counts as yours.
How do we check your age?
Signing up? Add your date of birth. Trusted data sources then verify your identity and your location, all before you make a first deposit.
If that check doesn't confirm you're 19+, we ask for a current government-issued photo ID. Checks can happen again whenever needed, withdrawals included. Every payment method must be registered to the account holder: one more layer of protection.
