Privacy Notice
This notice covers the personal details Penticton Casino collects, why we hold them and who sees them. It also sets out the choices and rights you have over your own information.
What do you collect about me?
- Account essentials: your name, birth date, address, email and phone number
- Identity documents and checks needed for age and verification
- Payment details and transaction history
- Game activity, limits and responsible play settings
- Technical data such as IP address, device and location used for geolocation checks
- Correspondence with our support team
Do you use cookies?
Yes. Our Cookies and Tracking page explains every type and how you can disable each one.
What is your legal basis for using my data?
Our legal bases: your consent, what it takes to run the account you opened, and our duties under Canadian rules on age and identity verification and on preventing money laundering.
How long do you keep it?
We keep your data for as long as your account stays open, then for whatever period the law requires for financial and anti-money laundering records. Once that period ends, it is deleted or anonymized.
Why do you use my data?
- to open and run your account
- to verify your age, identity and location before you make a first deposit
- to process payments in and out
- to prevent fraud and money laundering
- to run responsible play tools and spot warning signs of harm
- to answer your emails
- to send offers, if you opt in
Can I stop marketing?
Yes. Marketing lands only if you opted in. Switch it off anytime from your account settings, or tap the unsubscribe link in any email we send. Account service messages still arrive.
How is my data protected?
We protect it with encryption, access controls and secure systems. Access is limited to staff whose role requires it.
Do you collect data from minors?
No. Strictly 19 or older. If we find an account opened by a minor, it gets closed, and our Age Verification page explains what happens to its data.
Who do you share it with?
- payment providers that process your deposits and cashouts
- verification partners that check identity, age and location
- providers that supply hosting, email and game delivery services
- authorities, when the law demands it
We never sell your data.
Does my data leave Canada?
It can, if a partner stores or processes data outside Canada. We require those partners to safeguard it to a level comparable with Canadian law.
Will this notice change?
Yes, whenever the law or our practices shift. The new version will show up here, dated.
What are my rights?
- Access: ask for a copy of what we hold
- Correction: fix details that are wrong
- Deletion: request erasure of data the law no longer obliges us to hold
- Objection: say no to uses such as marketing
How do I reach you about privacy?
